Nestucca Valley Presbyterian Church – Pacific City, Oregon

COVID-19 Response – effective March 15, 2020

Our congregation received notice from the Leadership Committee of Cascades Presbytery that all public gatherings, including worship, be suspended in light of the current coronavirus outbreak in our state and through the nation. With regret, we must comply so, until further notice, there will be no public meetings in our sanctuary or fellowship hall. This includes Sunday worship and all other gatherings.

Daily Community Prayer Time  – To help maintain our strong feeling of love and commitment, each day at 9:00 am, wherever you are, please pause for a moment of communal prayer. We may be apart but we can still pray together. Let’s ask for strength and guidance to help us through these unprecedented days.

Thank you for your support, understanding, and prayers.  Our congregation will be stronger when we again gather together to pray and worship.

It is important to maintain some contact with our members and friends during these challenging times. Sermons by Reverend Ben Dake will be streamed live Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m… Information about how to access the live stream will be added on this site each Sunday morning.

Listen to the Sunday, May 24 service with guest minister, Reverend Ric Neese

Mission Statement:
Nestucca Valley Presbyterian Church is an inclusive, multigenerational, welcoming Christian community. The Bible is authoritative in our faith. We live this faith in our relationship with each other, in the local and global community, and in the stewardship of the natural world. We believe in the transforming experience of Jesus Christ through worship, teaching the Word, Christian fellowship, the arts, and ministry to the world. As Christians, we are striving to build a community reflecting God’s love, and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us into faithfulness.
